Filippo Inzaghi and Ricardo Oliveira scored in AC Milan's 2-1 win over Lazio in the Serie A today, reducing their penalty points from eight to five which they had received owing to the Italian match-fixing scandal.
Inzaghi, the veteran Italy striker, netted the opening goal with a low shot from the edge of the area in the 27th minute at the San Siro.
Oliveira, who transferred to Milan from Real Betis two weeks ago, added another in the 70th, nine minutes after coming on the field as a substitute for Alberto Gilardino.
The Brazilian forward was denied another goal by Lazio goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi, who made two great saves in the closing minutes.
Ayodele Makinwa scored in the 73rd for Lazio, who were penalized 11 points in the scandal.
Juventus were held to a 1-1 draw by Rimini in their first match in the second division yesterday.
Milan are still eight points behind defending champion Inter Milan, who won 3-2 at Fiorentina yesterday.
