Kaka going nowhere - Milan
Saturday, December 16, 2006
Milan president Silvio Berlusconi again stressed the club's desire to keep hold of Kaka.
The Brazilian playmaker has been linked with a move to Real Madrid since the summer but Milan have rejected their overtures.
"In my life I have never disappointed those who have shown faith in me," said Berlusconi. "We won't sell Kaka.
"There is no temptation. I sleep with tranquility, I don't get up to think of him because in my heart I am sure he will remain at Milan."
Meanwhile, Berlusconi has intimated that he is prepared to release funds to strengthen his squad in January.
"We will do everything to strengthen the side," he added.
"Our aim is to strengthen according to the market situation, but it is important to remember that this group has given us good results."
