I have to get used to tough marking
Saturday, August 18, 2007

Kaka admits that he has to get used to the tough marking by the opposition and winning the Champions League with AC Milan.

"It's true, you can say that I was one of the protagonists of the team that won the Cup," he said during a press conference at Milanello.

"Winning this Champions League was really a great thing for me, and to be able to spend this summer as a winner is even better."

It's been a tough pre-season for Kaká, with the opposing defenders taking 'special care' of him even though Milan have only played friendlies so far.

"I have to get used to it, that's the way it is," the Rossonero said. "However, if the marking gets tougher, it's a good sign as it means I'm getting better.

"I have to learn a few things, but I hope the referees become more strict, because some of the fouls are quite mean. Nevertheless, I know that the tough tackles will go on all year.

"Ancelotti? The coach and I are friends," Kaká continued, "He's a friend to all the players. Here at Milan we are a great family, there's a special atmosphere that's difficult to find elsewhere.

"The Berlusconi Trophy? To us it's a very important appointment. Sevilla are a good team which we are following closely, because the European Supercup final is the most important match of this month, and we want to win it."
