Kaka to lead Brazil

Ronaldinho and Kaka will lead Brazil's revamped team when it debuts in the World Cup qualifying tournament next month.
The duo were among 22 players summoned by Brazil manager Dunga on Thursday in Rio de Janeiro for the team's first two qualifiers against Colombia and Ecuador.
Brazil will face Colombia on Oct. 14 in Bogota, then will host the Ecuadoreans three days later at Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
Dunga made no changes to the roster he summoned for the friendly matches against the United States and Mexico earlier this month.
"This group has done its job," Dunga said in a news conference. "It knows how to rebound from adverse results and it copes well under pressure."
Only nine players from Dunga's current list were included in last year's World Cup roster in Germany, when the five-time world champion was eliminated by eventual runner-up France in the quarter-finals. Among those, only Ronaldinho, Kaka and Gilberto Silva were starters.
Those not returning include Inter Milan's Adriano and AC Milan's Ronaldo, who is yet to be summoned by Dunga since the coach replaced Carlos Alberto Parreira following the World Cup.
The other players from Brazil's roster in Germany who were among those announced Thursday are Julio Cesar, Juan, Lucio, Gilberto, Robinho and Mineiro.
Some of the newcomers include striker Afonso from the Netherlands' Heerenveen, midfielder Josue of Germany's Wolfsburg and defender Alex Silva of Brazil's Sao Paulo.
Dunga, a former defensive midfielder who helped Brazil win the 1994 World Cup, has revamped Brazil and tested several young players since he took charge.
Brazil won its last three friendly matches ahead of the qualifiers, beating Algeria 2-0, the United States 4-2 and Mexico 3-1.
The Brazilians also won the Copa America in July, trouncing archrival Argentina 3-0 in the final. Ronaldinho and Kaka both skipped the tournament in Venezuela to enjoy vacation time following the European season.
"Argentina may seem like our toughest opponent," Dunga said. "But in these qualifiers, every game is harder than the other. We have to be prepared."
Brazil has won 14 of 20 matches under Dunga. The team's only loss was a 2-0 result to Portugal in a friendly.
Brazil will play two other qualifying matches later this year - against Peru and Uruguay, both in November.
