Milan stumble yet again
Tuesday, October 02, 2007
AC Milan's winless streak in Serie A reached five games following a 1-1 draw with Catania on Sunday.
Uruguayan forward Jorge Martinez put Catania ahead in the 26th minute at San Siro and Kaka equalized with a penalty in the 48th.
After opening the season with a win over Genoa, the European champions have drawn four games and lost one in the Italian league.
"We're not going through a good phase. We're a bit inattentive and a little slow," coach Carlo Ancelotti said.
"Maybe we've become a bit too predictable in the league," club vice president Adriano Galliani said.
