Columbia holds Brazil to goaless draw

Brazil opened qualifying for the 2010 World Cup with a 0-0 tie Sunday at Colombia's capital Bogota.
Kaka, Ronaldinho and Robinho - Brazil's biggest stars - were eclipsed by Colombia's Radamel Falcao Garcia, Aquivaldo Mosquera and Carlos Alberto Sanchez.
Brazilian players appeared listless playing at Bogota's 8,700-feet altitude, and Kaka and Robinho were taken off for in the second half.
Colombia coach Jorge Luis Pinto was ejected 15 minutes in for arguing the decision by Paraguayan refereee Carlos Amarilla not to award a penalty kick after Wason Renteria was challenged by Gilberto.
The start was delayed for 45 minutes due to heavy rain.
Brazil, a five-time World Cup champion, hosts Ecuador on Wednesday in Brazil's first home game since Oct. 12, 2005 - its last qualifier for the 2006 World Cup.
Colombia, which hasn't played in the World Cup since 1998, is at Bolivia on Wednesday.
