Sunday, November 18, 2007
AC Milan are reportedly set to offer Kaka a lucrative new contract which would make the Brazilian the world's best-paid player.
The dynamic 25-year-old playmaker has been linked with a move to Real Madrid with the Spanish club's president Ramon Calderon rumoured to be the main instigator.
The Rossoneri are determined to keep their star player at the San Siro and are now looking to secure Kaka's long-term future.
According to reports in Gazzetta dello Sport, the 2007 UEFA Champions League winners have agreed a deal to keep Kaka in Milan until 2012.
The South American would earn about £6.4million a season, if he commits his future to the Italian giants.
An official announcement is expected by Milan when the Ballon d'Or winner is announced later this year, with Kaka favourite to claim the award.
