Kaka committed to Milan
Thursday, November 22, 2007
Kaka has revealed that he will not leave the Rossoneri unless his employers are not happy with his performances.
The Brazil international recently warned Italian football about its lack of credibility following the match-fixing affairs and the recent violent events.
The playmaker, who is favourite to win the Ballon d’Or award next month, does not want to leave the Serie A giants and claims that he will only leave the San Siro if he is asked to.
“I never said that I want to leave Italy,” Kaka said to Corriere della Sera. “I just said that the spiralling violence can make important players leave.
“Contrary to that, I signed a contract extension until 2011. I am not ungrateful.
“If I can win Ballon d’Or, then it will be thanks to Milan and Italy.
“I just wanted to warn people and to offer a contribution to the league I am playing in.
“If one day Milan are not happy with me…but me, I am very happy here.”
