Kaka denies Real interest
Saturday, March 29, 2008

Kaka has restated his ties to AC Milan, claiming he has never spoken to Real Madrid about a move to Madrid.

"Milan changed my life," Kaka told Spanish radio station Onda Cero.

"Real Madrid have never talked to me. They talked to my representative, who told them they would have to make a formal offer to Milan. If there had been agreement, we would have talked.

"I have always said that to leave Milan an agreement between the two presidents would have to be achieved. I feel good here, I am at home in the club and the city."

In 2002 Kaka played a friendly at the Bernabeu while he was with Brazilian club Sao Paulo, however the Spanish champions did not make any attempts to sign him following the match.

"The only offer was from Milan and it changed my life - I owe them for that," he said.

"I wanted to play for a big team in Europe and Milan gave me this opportunity."

Kaka also had reassuring words to say regarding injured compatriot Ronaldo believing he "will return to play football," while he also talked-up Ronaldinho after transfer speculation linked him to a summer move to Milan.

"If he comes, he will be welcome," said Kaka.

"He is a great player."
