I'll be back for preseason - Kaka
Wednesday, July 02, 2008

Kaka is recovering well from his knee operation, and he has once again reassured fans that he will be back in time for pre season training.

The Brazilian was troubled by a chronic knee injury for most of last season, and underwent surgery at the end of May in a bid to correct the problem.

There had originally been fears that the 26-year-old may not return for three months, however he has once again rubbished these rumours and says that he will be fit enough to report for pre season training on July 16.

"I am undergoing physiotherapy and I am happy with how it is going," Kaka told Sky Sport Italia.

"My knee still hurts, but I'm sure that it will be better soon and I will be ready for the pre-season camp on July 16."

Milan have made quite a splash in the transfer market this summer, having snapped up the likes of Gianluca Zambrotta, Mathieu Flamini and Marco Borriello.

They are also expected to complete their move for Barcelona's Ronaldinho in the coming weeks, while the signing of Arsenal's Emannuel Adebayor cannot be completely ruled out yet either.
