Kaka has backed coach Carlo Ancelotti to win over his doubters this season.

Ancelotti's position has been constantly questioned following the Rossoneri's struggles in Serie A during the past two seasons.

Milan are currently eighth in the table following an indifferent start to this season, but Kaka believes Ancelotti is the right man for the task of revitalising the fortunes of the club.

"Ancelotti is a very good coach," he told Sky Sport Italia. "He knows how to manage a strong group made up of lots of champions.

"As well as being tactically adept, you also need to know how to deal with the characteristics of the players and Carlo does that well.

"It's fundamental to have a leader who gives you the right instructions to follow so that the team can keep improving and know the direction they are taking."
