Kaka will stay at Milan - Inzaghi
Monday, December 01, 2008

Kaka has said that it would be 'great' to play in the Premier League 'one day', having been linked again with moves to Chelsea and Manchester City.

Reports have claimed that Manchester City would be keen to sign the Brazilian following the Abu Dhabi United Group's takeover at Eastlands and the reigning Fifa World Player of the Year has regularly been linked with a move to England.

The 26-year-old told Sky Sports News ahead of his club's UEFA Cup clash with Portsmouth: "I like very much the Premier League."

"It's a very tough championship, but there are a lot of big players and a lot of big teams, so now I think it's the best championship in the world. So, one day maybe, I don't know when, but it would be great to play in England."

Kaka's compatriot Robinho joined City for a British transfer record fee as the August transfer window closed and he has sparkled in the Premier League.

When asked if he would be interested in joining City, Kaka replied: "I have a lot of friends that are playing there, so I watch some games. I speak with Robinho and Elano sometimes about Manchester City."

''I'm very happy that they want to take me from Milan, but I think it is very difficult.''

In the past, when linked to the likes of Real Madrid, Kaka has spoken of the gratitude he feels towards the Milanese giants for bringing him to Europe as a 21-year-old and has admitted he would find it hard to leave.

However, he revealed that should his aims ever differ from those of the San Siro outfit he would consider a move elsewhere.

''One day if I have to leave AC Milan it will be because my objectives, my targets, are not the same as AC Milan's targets,'' he said.

''Maybe then it will be time to leave AC Milan. Now I think we are on the same road, so it is very difficult to leave, but I don't know.''

Kaka is also excited by the prospect of playing with England international David Beckham.

The Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder is set for a short stint with Milan during the American close season but Kaka hopes that period will be extended.

The Brazilian said: ''When he comes, he will see what Milan is like and he can maybe stay a little bit more. I don't know, maybe until the end of the season or who knows, for another year?

''I like him, he is very positive. He has a lot of talent with the ball, kicks it well and shoots nicely. It will be very nice to play with him, I'm very happy.''
