Kaka wants glory with Milan
Sunday, January 04, 2009

AC Milan ace Kaka said he would like to "win the Scudetto, the UEFA Cup, get goal no. 100 with the team and clinch the Ballon d'Or" in the current season.

Despite Milan rank third at the Italian Serie A standings with the same points at Juventus, Kaka foresees a successful season. "I dream about good things for me and for the team."

In relation to 2008, the international Brazilian stated. "It was a special year because my son Luca was born. As for the professional aspect, I can't say the same. 2008 wasn't as excellent as 2007, it was just good."

For him, the biggest dissapointment was missing the "Champions League and watching Manchester United take our place. We want to play the Champions as soon as possible to be at Abu Dhabi in 2010."

When asked about a probable departure from Milan, Kaka said it's just "false rumors. I don't think it happens. Milan and I share the same goals. They've been talking about Real Madrid's interest and then they turned to Chelsea."

"I would leave Milan if one of two things happen: either the team decides to get rid of me, or our goals were no longer the same," Kaka remarked.

Regarding David Beckham's arrival, Kaka said the British player "is a curious case. He will be with us just two months. Beckham has made an interesting choice for him and for Milan."; however, he thinks Ronaldinho's signing "is highly positive, it means top-quality game for the next three years."
