Kaka happy with Milan defeat

Real Madrid midfield playmaker Kaka has said that FC Zurich's shock triumph over his former club Milan is good news for Los Blancos, who consolidated their position as Group C leaders with a comfortable 3-0 win over Marseille at the Bernabeu.
"For us it was very good that they lost, because we are first in the group with two games to come against Milan. Qualifying and topping the group now depends on us. It is very important to top the group," Kaka declared according to Goal.com Spain.
Kaka scored Madrid's second from the penalty spot against Marseille after man-of-the-match Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored two, was hacked down by Souleymane Diawara, who was sent off for a second bookable offence.
Afterwards, the Brazilian praised his Portuguese team-mate for leading the way and said patience was the key to unlocking the Marseille defence.
He added, "Games aren't always easy. The first half was difficult for us, but with a little patience and a goal from Cristiano Ronaldo things got easier."
